Why treat your pet with ESPEVET?
We are passionately committed to the welfare of animals. Everything we do aims to achieve the best possible quality of life and we only recommend intervention when it is best for our patients. At ESPEVET we are veterinary specialists, similar to specialists in human hospitals, each dedicated to providing your pet with the best treatment and care. CLICK HEREWe work as a team with you and your vet, in the best interest of your pet. Our team receives referrals in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and neurosurgery and a veterinary anaesthesia specialist leads the anaesthesia service. We also have oncology and imaging specialists.
How do I arrange a referral?
We are an extension of your vets and cannot accept referrals directly from the public or give advice to pet owners who have not previously been seen for a specific condition. If you think your pet might benefit from a specialist opinion, you should contact your vet, who can facilitate the case referral if appropriate.
How does the consultation take place?
Your initial consultation will be with the clinical specialist in charge of your pet's care. These consultations take place at your surgery or clinic and generally last 1 hour. Most surgical cases can be performed at your clinic. In some more complex cases, surgery may need to be performed where specific equipment such as fluoroscopy or CT is available.
Payment
We always work in the best interest of your pet and all consultations regarding pricing should be discussed with your vet before arranging an appointment with us.
Your vet has no obligation to recommend us. If they did, it is because they value the care and expertise we can provide for your pet.
